Elizabeth

Elizabeth pursued her undergraduate degree at Furman University, majoring in Psychology and Religion. Upon graduating, she knew she wanted to support others in their journeys to become their best selves. She pursued her passion for mental health at Vanderbilt University and graduated with a Masters in Human Development Counseling.

Background

Elizabeth is eager to provide compassionate, holistic care to her clients. She works with children, teens, and adults using a variety of approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Her therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that each individual has unique strengths that can facilitate growth and self-understanding. Elizabeth works with individuals who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and trauma.

Elizabeth is also passionate about working with individuals who are experiencing concerns with body image, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, and developmental transitions. She is honored to support and empower clients as they begin a new chapter.

Outside of the office, Elizabeth enjoys quality time with her friends, family, and beloved dog. She enjoys visiting the beach and soaking in all that the Sunshine State has to offer.
